2.Hastelloy C Introduction

Hastelloy C is a tungsten-containing nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy with an extremely low silicon and carbon content.
Excellent corrosion resistance to most corrosive media in both oxidising and reducing states.
Excellent resistance to pitting corrosion, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking.

5.Hastelloy C Application area 

It is used in a wide range of chemical and petrochemical applications, for example in components and catalytic systems that come into contact with organic substances containing chlorides. The material is particularly suitable for use at high temperatures, inorganic and organic acids mixed with impurities (e.g. formic and acetic acids) and in corrosive environments in seawater.
Pulp and paper industry, e.g. boiling and bleaching vessels
Scrubber towers, reheaters, wet vapour fans etc. in FGD systems
Equipment and components for operation in sour gas environments
